Answers to the questions we hear most often. If something isn't covered here, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.
We charge a diagnostic visit fee of £65, which is credited toward the repair if you proceed. After diagnosis, we provide a written quote for labour and parts. We do not begin any repair work without your explicit written approval. Parts are charged at cost with no markup.
We service most major brands sold in the UK, including Bosch, Siemens, Miele, Neff, Hotpoint, Indesit, Beko, AEG, Samsung, LG, Whirlpool, Candy, Zanussi, Smeg, and many more. If you're unsure whether we service your appliance brand, please contact us and we'll advise you honestly.
In most cases we can arrange a visit within 2–4 business days. Urgent appointments are sometimes available with advance notice. We operate Monday–Friday 8am–6pm and Saturdays 9am–2pm. We aim to give you a 2-hour arrival window rather than asking you to wait in all day.
We stand behind the work we carry out. If the same fault recurs within 30 days of a completed repair, we will return to assess and address it. This applies to labour — parts are subject to manufacturers' warranties where applicable. We cannot offer guarantees on faults unrelated to the original repair or on appliances with underlying issues we disclosed at the time.
Sometimes repair is not economically viable — particularly for older appliances where parts are no longer available or the repair cost would exceed the value of the machine. In those cases, we'll be upfront about it. You'll only be charged the diagnostic visit fee, and we'll give you an honest assessment to help you decide on next steps.
